Trans fat or what you call it unsaturated fat is the worst fat you could possibly eat. It is found in foods such as chips, potato and most fried food. Trans fats (unsaturated fats) exist in nature, but also occur during the processing of polyunsaturated fatty acids in the production of food.
By the way (And as promised) Here is a list of the Top 5 Tips To Avoid Eating Trans Fat.
- Remember to read the labels of any packaged food you buy.
- As a rule, Try to stay away from processed or pre-packaged foods.
- Take the skin off the meat before consuming it.
- Use low-fat alternatives. Dairy products in particular contain saturated fats.
- Stay away from cooking oils like palm oil, coconut oil, vegetable oil and hydrogenated oils of any kind.
Trans Fats / Unsaturated Fats are the result of over-processing our foods in order to offer consumers a longer shelf life. If your food is pre-packaged, then it is pretty safe bet it has its fair share of Trans Fats. You really should try to avoid Trans Fats at all costs possible if you’re serious about your weight gaining diet / muscle building goals.
